TL;DR
Must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use. Skibidirot plays sounds through your Mac — it does not damage hardware, access private data, or connect to any third-party service beyond license validation. If it doesn't work on your supported device, reach out and we'll sort it out. One license, personal use only.
By downloading, installing, or using Skibidirot ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Skibidirot. Some sounds included in the Software contain content not suitable for minors. By purchasing or using the Software, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement under applicable law in your country or region.
Skibidirot is a macOS menu bar application that plays audio clips when Claude Code completes a prompt, using the Claude Code hooks system. The Software is provided for entertainment and productivity purposes only.
The developer shall not be held liable for any social, professional, reputational, or personal consequences arising from the use of the Software in any setting, including workplaces, educational institutions, public spaces, or private gatherings — including but not limited to embarrassment caused by unexpected audio playback, noise complaints, or disciplinary action. You are solely responsible for exercising appropriate judgment regarding when, where, and in whose presence you choose to operate the Software.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall the developer's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.
Skibidirot grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Software on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Software.
The Skibidirot name, logo, website content, audio assets, and all associated materials are the exclusive intellectual property of the developer. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
You may not copy, reproduce, imitate, or create derivative works of the Skibidirot brand identity without prior written consent from the developer.
If the Software fails to function on your supported device, email us at hi@skibidirot.com and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund. We may ask for a short description or video of the issue to help diagnose the problem.
Skibidirot requires macOS 14.0 or later. The developer is not responsible for issues arising from use on unsupported hardware or operating system versions.
Skibidirot does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from your device beyond what is necessary for license validation. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
When you purchase Skibidirot, your email address is collected as part of the transaction. By completing a purchase, you agree that the developer may use your email address to send occasional communications, including product updates and promotions. Every email will include an easy way to unsubscribe. The developer will not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
